Scott and Christa originally met in their English class at Panther Creek High School where Scott asked Christa on a date to Red Robin (can you say bottomless fries?!), and they’ve been inseparable since. Celebrating 13 years together this October, their wedding song was “Good as You” by Kane Brown. Christa says she admires Scott’s “unwavering parenting skills and his ability to be fully present as both a husband and father.” Scott, in turn, cherishes “Christa’s passion, drive, commitment, and her nurturing instincts to not only their two boys, but everyone she comes in contact with.” In the words of Christa’s mom, they “complete each other because they’re so similar yet so opposite. They’re perfect for each other – Scott is reserved, and Christa is wide open. They were best friends first.” I’m cryin’!

During their 2021 house hunt, Scott and Christa weathered a challenging real estate market. Despite early morning showings, losing offers, and even bringing Liam into the world, their determination paid off, and they found the home that was perfect for them.

 

Since purchasing their Holly Springs home, the Turners have transformed it into the perfect space to raise their family. From decorating 2 nurseries to building a customized office space, their home is a testament to their shared vision. The kitchen is typically Scott’s domain, where he has mastered the art of reverse-searing steaks to perfection. Their favorite spot in the house? The primary bedroom, where they wind down and indulge in their shared love for “The Office”, which they’ve probably watched completely 10 times over. They’re dreaming of a beach house as their next investment to have a retreat away from home to satisfy their love for travel. The beach is a close second favorite destination to the beautiful West Coast Mountains.

 

When it’s time to unwind, Scott turns to his love for sports, particularly golf and hockey – Go Canes! He plans to pass on his enthusiasm for hockey to their sons, Liam and Wesley. While Christa also loves watching the Carolina Hurricanes play, she finds her sanctuary at the spa (same, girl). Embracing Holly Springs, they enjoy local favs like the farmers’ market, Holly Fest, Osha Thai Kitchen and Sushi, and Randy’s Pizza. When they have a chance to get outside of Holly Springs for a date night, you can find them at Mulino Italian Kitchen and Bar in Downtown Raleigh or Colletta in Cary. 

  

Although their house-hunting experience wasn’t easy, these two amazing people were determined to make it happen and were truly a joy to work with. From high school beginnings to dreams of a beach house, their journey continues, a celebration of love and what the future holds. Here’s to the future, Turner family!
