Tia and Daniel have been residents of the Triangle for a while, and were excited to purchase their Cary, NC home in 2022.

A fun-loving couple who met online “before it was cool” (their words, not ours!), Daniel says he knew Tia was the one after she added jalapenos and BBQ sauce to her burger on their first date, and you know we love our BBQ sauce in NC! They continue to bond over their mutual faith and love for Jesus and raise their children the same way. Daniel is in pharmaceuticals with a degree from University of Akron, and Tia holds it down at home keeping the house, their beautiful children, and really, their life, operating with lots love and care. About 2.5 hours from Tia’s hometown of Charlotte, NC and 4 hours from their favorite city of Charleston, SC which they love for its shopping, food, and vibes, they definitely hit the location jackpot! When asked what they love most about their neighborhood and Cary in general, they said “We absolutely love our neighborhood community. There are so many children and fun people. Our location is convenient to everything from groceries, entertainment, shopping, downtown Cary/Raleigh, the hospital, you name it! Cary is such an ideal place to raise a family and North Carolina will always be home for us!”

Their 3 adorable kids, Carter, Andrew, and Dottie Kate, are loving their new home and community as well! Trick or treating there for the first time in 2022 was a blast – their neighbor hosts all the families for pizza before going out, and all the neighbors participate and love seeing the children in costumes. The kids are also big fans of the great local indoor play area, Happy Feet, right down the road in Apex! Carter, their oldest, is looking forward to playing baseball next season with his brother and sister cheering him on. The family has already made great friends in the neighborhood and you can catch them hanging out with neighbors and friends on a typical weekend! They say they vibe best with “other people in the same season of life with young children. Down to earth people who like to have a good conversation and a good time!” We’ll cheers to that! 

Since purchasing their home they completely gutted the master bathroom, painted inside, painted the exterior and updated landscaping, added a backsplash to the kitchen, and swapped out hardware and fixtures throughout the house. They certainly aren’t afraid of a little sweat equity! Speaking of the kitchen, it’s one of the two areas the family spends most of their time (along with the family room). Those littles love being in proximity to the snacks and they love family time in the kitchen baking cookies, pies, and muffins. It’s rumored their Taco Nights are the talk of the town. When they’re relaxing in the family room they may be cheering on the NY Jets together, or Tia may be curled up with a great book or planning her next decor updates. For a fun night out they enjoy having dinner just 10 minutes away at Chef’s Palette, or grabbing drinks in Fenton and the growing Downtown Cary area. As a golfer, Daniel has to love that Prestonwood and Lochmere courses are right around the corner.
